CARE

The wash care instructions can be found on the garments main label.

HOW TO WASH?

Turn the garment inside out before washing.

You can use cold or warm water not exceeding 40°C/105°F.

Wash with like colors and use mild laundry detergents. Do not use harsh chemicals like bleach, as they can weaken the fiber strength and also fade the colors.

Fabric pilling can be prevented if you follow the above instructions, use short washing cycles, and remove the garment from the dryer promptly.

HOW TO DRY?

Line drying in the sun is best, if possible. Machine drying is ok, but don’t overdo it! Over drying can result in damaged fabrics.

HOW TO IRON AND STORE?

The fabric can get crumpled during the laundry process. Check the care label for specific instructions before ironing. You’ll see best results if you iron the item while it’s slightly damp, or use an iron with steam. Turn the garment inside out before ironing. When it comes to storing, store in a cool, dry place.

PILLING

At Larkspur Baby Company, our bamboo is of the highest quality and is made of 96% bamboo and 4% spandex. Bamboo is a natural and delicate fabric that is woven to produce a soft, silky smooth and comfortable feel. Slight pilling is normal for this natural fabric, especially in response to friction and isn’t a fault or defect of the item. Pilling is caused by abrasion to the surface of the fabric. This does not affect the softness of the fabric or its function. Please see wash care for best practices in caring for your bamboo items.
